VALENCIA, Spain & SILICON VALLEY, Calif.– May 24, 2024 – The MEGAMORPH project proudly took center stage at Display Week 2024, held from May 12-17 at the San Jose Convention Center. SCALE Nanotech, representing the project, showcased the groundbreaking GMOD display modules, highlighting the innovative and creative spirit of European technology on a global stage. This success was made possible through the collaboration with key partners Graphenea, Morphotonics, CIN-Ergy, and VividQ.
Display Week, organized by the Society for Information Display (SID), is the premier event for the electronic display industry, attracting thousands of attendees from around the world. This year’s event featured cutting-edge developments in display technology, including augmented and virtual reality, microLEDs, and flexible displays.
SCALE Nanotech’s GMOD technology drew considerable attention and admiration for their innovative and breakthrough nature. Visitors were particularly impressed with the MEMS-based pixels in GMOD display modules (2500ppi and 3800ppi), whose concept has evolved significantly since Qualcomm’s initial attempts years ago. The demonstrations were a highlight, showcasing the potential of the MEGAMORPH project’s advancements.
Santiago Cartamil, CEO of SCALE Nanotech, and Juan Pablo Prieto, Operations Manager of the company, received very positive feedback from industry leaders and tech giants throughout the event.
